Matt Bostwick was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. Saw his first lighthouse, the Hatteras Light, when he was 8 years old and fell in love with Lighthouses and the ocean. He went to Ohio State University in Natural Sciences and his first job was working as a National Park Ranger at Yellowstone National Park. He changed to a business/marketing career and worked for Kraft, Coca-Cola, Disney and MTV. And a children's television company that had Thomas & Friends, Barney, and Bob the Builder among other wonderful properties. His whole career has been focused on children and teenagers. He is married and has three daughters and LOVED to read to them when they were little. He loves to write: stories, poems, travel, history and now children's Books. He is planning a series of children's books about lighthouses as well as a book about an adorable marshmallow couple.
